1. Who We Are
StillMe is operated as an independent project. You can reach us at info@stillme.online. By using StillMe, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. What the Service Does
StillMe lets you write personal letters and receive thoughtful reflections written from the perspective of your future self. The reflections are generated automatically using AI technology and are shaped entirely by what you share.
3. Not Therapy or Medical Advice
StillMe is a personal reflection tool. It is not therapy, medical advice, psychological counseling, or crisis intervention. The reflections you receive are not professional guidance and should not be treated as such.
If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact your local emergency services or a crisis helpline immediately.
4. AI-Generated Content
Reflections are generated automatically by AI. They are not written by a human and do not represent objective truth. While they aim to be thoughtful and meaningful, accuracy is not guaranteed. They are not intended for making critical life, financial, or health decisions.
5. Accounts
You sign in with your Google account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from your settings page.
6. Your Content
You own everything you write. We do not sell, publish, or share your letters or reflections with anyone. Your content is stored encrypted at rest and is used solely to provide the service to you.
We do not use your letters or reflections to train our own models or for any purpose beyond delivering your personal reflections.
7. Data Usage & AI Providers
To generate reflections, your letter content is sent to a third-party AI provider for processing. How that data is handled depends on your plan:
Free plan (Reflection)
Your letter content is sent to the AI provider in anonymized form (without your name, email, or account details). The AI provider may use this anonymized data to improve their models, in accordance with their own terms of service. We have no control over how the provider processes data under their free-tier or standard API terms.
Paid plan (Deeper Reflection)
Your letter content is processed through a zero-data-retention API tier. No data — including anonymized content — is used by the AI provider for training or improving their models. Your words stay yours.
8. Payments & Subscriptions
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe and renew automatically. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your settings page. When you cancel, your paid features remain active until the end of the current billing period. After that, your account returns to the free plan.
We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. All prices are in USD.
9. Limitation of Liability
StillMe is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to emotional distress, reliance on AI-generated content, service interruptions, or data loss. Your use of StillMe is at your own risk.
10. Termination
You may stop using StillMe and delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or are used in ways that could harm the service or other users.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you through the service. Continued use of StillMe after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes will be resolved in the jurisdiction where the service operator is located.
